About the Programs

Paddling Private Lessons

Do individual training sessions with Southeast Paddle Sports coaches. These sessions can help with specific aspects of the stroke that need to be improved upon.

Marathon Program

Most paddlers on this training program are competing at the ICF Masters Marathon World Championships. This is raced in the Olympic-style canoes and kayaks. The race distance is usually between 15 and 20km for masters, and it is usually between 25 and 30km for open age paddlers. This program has secondary goals of preparing for the ACA Sprint National Championships and Chattajack.

Sprint K1 Team

This program is designed for paddlers that are targeting the ACA Sprint National Championships. This usually takes place at the beginning of August. The race distances are 5km, 1000m, 500m, and 200m. This program has secondary goals for the local SEP Series races.
