Overview – The Southeast Paddle Sports Outrigger Canoe and Dragon Boat Team will race an open age mixed 10 seat boat.

Selection – This team will be selected by strength to weight ration on the data paddle with an A-frame stroke. Each paddler will have a 10 second recorded window during a 200m rolling start. The paddlers in the boat who are not being tested will be at a 70% to 80% effort level. The testing paddlers will be at a maximum effort for the duration of the 200m. The 10 second window will not be announced tested paddlers to insure a consistent race effort. The paddlers with the highest strength to weight ratio will be invited to the mixed team. Any paddler that does not make the team will be fully refunded. the event registration.

Paddlers data test will be email to each athlete for them to learn about their stroke power output.

Team Practices – Registration will include 2 to 3 practices before the race. Data paddle trials will be November 18th at 1pm.

Team Uniform – All that are racing need to wear a Southeast Paddle Sport jersey.
