About the Program

The Southeast Paddle Sports Outrigger Canoe Team has the goal of promoting outrigger canoe racing in the Southeast region of the United States.

The year’s racing and training will be based on competitions. All racing selections will be based on time trial data or data paddle strength to weight ratio. Qualifications and selection criteria will be sent out in advance before each race. Only qualifying athletes will be able to attend the races they are selected for. Race registration will specify what age category the team is racing.
